Yes I have tried all of that. I've tried clearing caches and gone into Apple website to unlink the devices and relink. Still the same issue. My MacBook is working great with the service. Just appears that the Customac is having issues. To further update the problem, it does not appear to stay in sync. After several days of not logging into the Customac, messages do not sync.
When you run iMessage debug after you set everything up and reboot do the numbers still match in iMessage debug?

I have again followed guide on tony mac forum (an idiots guide to imessage) and when running imessage debug across reboots, the values of everything stay the same.

I noticed however my rom is coming up as : ROM: ffffffffffff

Is this a bad thing? If so, what should I do?

Should MLB & ROM values get stored in the NVRAM?

for instance, when I type "sudo nvram -p -x" doesn't show up any ROM/MLB value but iMessagesDebug displays those values correctly after rebooting...

Still I'm getting the "contact customer support" every time after LOTS of attempts

After weeks of struggling with "Contact customer support" and momentarily giving up, it finally worked. I screwed up iMessage when I first fiddled with Hackintosh and my account was probably flagged. So I followed this guide 100% and did all the steps correctly from the iDiot's guide but still same result with the 12 character code/contact customer support.

I made a new iCloud account on my iPhone, but I was also presented with Contact customer support with the 12-char code one second after logging in (I was automatically logged out). I made sure there was no trace of my old log in attempt and even clean installed each time as a precaution/used a different wifi network and generated new smUUID/SN/ROM/MLB info from the guide. I contacted customer support and they refused to help me without serial number after 3 different reps on different days (I called from different phones as a precaution), saying that the code I gave them didn't give any results and they can't do anything without serial number.

I have a legit Macbook Air, and I could not log into iMessage on it with my newly created apple id (12 digit code on the MBA) so I think the accounts created associated with my iPhone were flagged when it came to iMessage. I could use iCloud on all accounts with no problems.

On a whim, I followed the guide one more time (no different than the other times I did it) on my hackintosh but used an apple ID I created maybe 8 years ago that I used only for an iPad and it worked very easily.

So I think that all iCloud accounts that were created from my iPhone were blacklisted because I screwed up the first time. I hit my maximum iCloud account limit that was created from my iPhone (I actually only made 2, but it says 3 is the maximum online), so maybe there's an algorithm that detects suspicious activity and blocks on a higher level (device level).

I could maybe test this theory by creating a new Apple ID/iCloud account on a different iDevice and see if it works, but not going to risk a working iMessage right now.

I have never had a problem before with getting Messages running on my custom Mac. However when I upgraded to Mojave, somehow my EFI folder got overwritten. Now Messages is giving me some problems I took a look at the caches to be replaced to fix the problem as described in the Idiot's Guide, and it looks like they may have changed with Mojave. Is there an updated list of the files that need t be deleted to make a fresh start?

Specifically, Since upgrading to Mojave I can not find "com.apple.Message" in Users/name/Library/Caches

I am due for an OS update to 10.14.1. I should probably update and look at the caches afterwords.

Well, I installed the 10.14.1 update and Messages seems to be working. Still no sign of the cache com.apple.message. Maybe it never existed in Mojave.

My iMessage stopped working after I installed Mojave. I tried the solutions provided here to no avail. I finally booted my Hackintosh drive with my real mac laptop. iMessage worked when running on the real Mac. I then put the drive back in my Hack and iMessage has continued to work properly.

Update: iMessage stopped working yesterday. No changes to any software or hardware were involved.

I'm going to try again but for some reason, using rom from macaddress0 results in rom as "FFFFFFFFFFFF".

Not sure what happened.

When people say authorize itunes, what does this mean?

imessage has worked great on this Hack since the start. On every iteration of every osx except this one. I'm on the latest Mojave devoloper beta. iphone to iphone works fine.. mac to sms does not work. Just red numbers. no clue as to why. Sucks
