SOLVED IT! Found EmuVariableUefi-64.efi. It worked.

I just built my second Hack after first one died. Trying to get iMessage working using Clover Config and iMessage debug.

My ROM and MLB are showing as failed:

4D1EDE05-38C7-4A6A-9CC6-4BCCA8B38C14:ROM: failed
4D1EDE05-38C7-4A6A-9CC6-4BCCA8B38C14:MLB: failed

Been reading. Realized I don't have EmuVariableUefi-64.efi installed! Is this what is keeping the values from sticking? If so, where can I download ONLY it?

I've tried to get it solely from the Clover install and it looks like other stuff wants to install as well. Don't want to risk it.

I have no idea what is wrong. I used iMessage Debug and everything matches. I've called Apple Support and spoke with a senior advisor, I still have the same customer code error. I've tried using a VPN and another Apple ID with no success. I've cleared the cache & preferences, have correct serial number prefix & suffix, and checked the SId bug as well..

Hi - please post the results from iMsg DeBugger lets see if there are any anomalies in the setup that maybe causing a problem - thanks.

Your details seem to check out ok, so its hard to tell what is exactly happening as you've gone through all the checks as you reported you've done i.e. deleting iMsg cache folders and files etc. Make sure your Ethernet card is registered as (en0) as this can and will hinder iMessage connection if that checks out as such, try this long shot - Turn your router or modem off for 10 minutes then reboot your rig forcing a refresh of your mac address. This has worked on a few occasions for some. Good luck.

Yeah, my ethernet card is registered as en0. I tried using my wifi (en1) and it gives me a network connection error instead of the customer code error. I've tried using a VPN and another Apple ID to login and it doesn't work. I also did turn off my router for 10 minutes last night and it didnt resolve the issue.

Last resort might be to reinstall, but I have a dual boot on the same SSD...

Ok I see - let me say this, weather this has any impact on your iMsg woes or not I don't know but in an ideal world, its always best to have Operating Systems on their own respective drives in multi booting setups. Makes life easier if there is a problem as you can isolate each drive for an investigation and besides Drives are quite cheap to buy now. No consolation but I have 5 Drives in my setup, 3 OS's and 2 Storage Drives, any problems and I can easily get straight to the problem on that drive. There is a fare chance you will corrupt your other Operating System or both by poking around trying to fix the problem - hope that doesn't happen but I would look into getting another drive and do an install on the new drive. What ever decision you make Good luck.

Hi I did all of the things to make iMessage work and it was working great then after logging out to put a different Apple ID in I got make sure your network is good error and now I can't access anything

EDIT:this is really weird but I messed with the time and that fixed the error and then the Apple ID I originally wanted wanted to call apple so I used another Apple ID of mine and it started working again.

Back on th 12 /29 (previous page) I fixed my problems and Messages was working GREAT!

I woke up yesterday morning and it acted like it only wanted to send SMS. The green progress bar stops just short of sending and then it fails. All of the accounts I try sending to are red and "is not registered with Messages"

So what changed? I checked iMessage Debug. None of the values have changed since it was working.

Mini Update: I just booted my backup. Same thing. I'm able to login. I even got a notification on my iPhone that a new Mac is using Messages. But is still will not send or receive. Still the red "is not registered with Messages"

So I thought it was fixed now it only sends iMessages but can't receive them?
