"Trying so hard to kill iMessage" - really?? The Hack community is small compared to the total sales of Macs, I bet they don't pay us any mind.

I agree. I have a feeling that the real motivation to keep upping security on this is to try to keep spammers at bay. It's cheaper for a spammer to build a hackintosh to "do their work" than it is to buy a mac. I don't think they care about Joe Schmo sending cat pictures to his sister.

Totally agree. I believe it's more for spammers sending text using apple server.

BTW, I changed my ROM/MLB/SMuuid value with clover generated one, rebooted and now I can see my MBP is activated as I can see my MBP in my iPhone's text message forwarding.

Yesterday they released a new FileNVRAM for Chameleon / Chimera.

But if I understand correctly, it will also used cloned values of a real mac to work, right? It is the same like Clover and the same issues will occur....

Real MAC and Hack won't be able to send messages anymore, because both are using the same MLB/ROM values and so on. They will be added to a Blacklist .....

Don't you think it will create more problems?

I can confirm that is not going to work. I used my MBP value and made sure my MBP was off (stayed home) when I was using my hack at work and it still stopped working.

An alternate version of FileNVRAM modded for OS X Yosemite is now up. We completed testing before the latest iMessage activation trouble, so that may or may not be a factor now, as discovered by jaymonkey. Full credit to xZenue and meklort, with changes by SJ_Underwater. The files are provided for testing purposes.

I just can't make iMessage and Facetime work on the genuine mac anymore at the moment. I have changed MLB, ROM and SMuuid as well on the hackintosh, but not luck in making genuine mac work again with Facetime and iMessage... Any suggestion?

Just thought I'd share: without changing or even logging in/out anything, iMessage on my VMWare Yosemite (on a Genuine Mac) (same ROM and MLB, but a different System-Id) started working again (after about a week of not working).
