Now it reboots instead of shutting down

Before the pc reboots i can see some "unsupported ioctl" errors

EDIT: Shutdown didn't work but p states are working like a charm now

Nothing can you share your patched DSDT?

My own patched or the one from GB?

My own patched has the speedstep states of the i7 930 in it, so you'd need edit those out.

btw, do you have power management working on your nvidia card?
mine does not clock down to 300MHz like in windows, it stays at 731MHz or above.

I could never get AGPM to work.

Can you post your boot log from console? What do you see in the shutdown end of the log?

I'll try later

EDIT: Fixed the DSDT and now shutdown works! :headbang:

For some reason the audio is not working anymore tough

There is everything explained, just read carefully!

Cheers

If you don't mind telling, what did you fix? Which DSDT - yours or the one I patched?

Some people patched it for me, not sure what's been done

I've attached both if you want to compare

On a side note, did you guys found out the patch for internal drives?

Mine makes external drives show as internal

Code:

i actually had the same problem with internal appearing as external drives and i haven't patched anything within the OS or in clover level. but i just had to disable hot swap in the bios and it worked.

Is sleep working for you guys?
