X58 can't shut down

im not sure i clearly understand removing themes and zip attach?

should i place the dsdt as a .zip file?

ive run latest multibeast and all seems to be booting fine.... even got audio options that have not appeared for ages...

hello all
rather lost the thread as have been traveling....
any enthusiasm for picking it up?
the machine is mostly running fine yet has the occasional random restart now as well as the irregular shutdown issues...

right now running just on clover with no dsdt added... when i do add the appropriate dsdt it will no longer boot...

Hello from me guys, old thread but i have learned a lot from this site and the thread specifally.

So i would like to contribute my working Sierra 10.12.3 setup for public use.
Hope it helps some people here!

Everything works, external disks show yellow, internal show grey (which is proper i think), shutdown, sleep,everything!

wow, thanks for that... i finally got a chance to try that and it seems to boot perfectly and so far with one, very late night attempt, the machine has just shutdown properly..... i shall test it properly tomorrow yet most promising and v exciting.... i wish i understood the whole clover process and how you got to this stage a little better.....

i noticed that the clover config is configured for your xeon processor tho...... my vanilla configs were blank....
wondering if i adjust this i will break your fix?
