Hey guys, bad news...today I was trying to fix my audio problems on my hackintosh (sometimes audio wasn't working) so I ended up installing new kexts (I think appleHDA?). Anyway after rebooting the sistem (since the installer asked me to do so) I'm stuck in the booting page, the bar goes to 100% very slowly and then it's stuck there. What should I do? Is there any way to recover or I can only do a fresh instal? My hackintosh is on macOS High sierra APFS. Let me know thanks

It might be worth pressing space on clover boot, picking verbose boot and seeing what its sticking on.

yeah he's right. If you want help, give us some more informations. Boot with -v and show a screen/pic.

Okay guys I tried that..I don’t know what it means..but I posted the pics below. After the booting is complete you can see that I get a white screen and I’m stuck there. Hope someone can help thanks a lot.

Your Screen shot is indicative of a Graphics card issue.
  • Boot as you have done previously up to Clover Boot Manager screen
    • There, you go to Options>Boot Args:
    • Take a Picture of current Boot Args: to upload to the forum if needed and, and then
    • add -v -x -f flags and
    • Boot and see if you can reach High Sierra Desktop and
    • then uninstall the kexts that caused the problem.
  • If the above method does not work:
    • See if you can boot with your High Sierra USB installer disk to CBM screen
    • Switch to your System disk and
    • Boot to Login and then to Desktop and
    • Uninstall what ever kexts you installed and restore the system to previous state.
  • If that is not possible or USB Installer does not enable you to boot to desktop,
    • then boot as usual and
    • From Clover Boot Manager Screen go to
    • Options and Boot Args: and take a Photo of that screen .
    • Then scroll down to Graphics Injector-> ENTER >
    • Take Picture of Graphics Injector screen
    • Upload the above 2 CBM >Options Screen images to the Forum for help.
  • Another option is to try to boot in "Single User Mode" and then move the offending kexts to a newly created folder reboot and check.
    • Because the above is not an easy task and can be potentially more problem prone for folks who are not quite familiar with commands, I will not be listing the steps.

Okay guys good news! Did what you said on the 1st method, except I didn't have the -f flag... anyway I booted in safe mode and deleted the kexts I installed, if I remember they were AppleHDA and Lilu... then I restarted in normal mode and reinstalled the ALC892 drivers with the audioclover alc 130 command and now everything came back working, thanks everyone
