That's great pulpinex! Which PCIe adapter are you using? Thx for the post!

ATTACHED: ASUS RAMPAGE IV BLACK EDITION 0801 BETA BIOS WITH NVME Pcie Drivers included.
I add the nvme pcie drivers following this guide.
Work flawlessy!

System boot correctly with clover on the efi partition on the nvme pcie disk.
:)

HOW TO:
1. Acquire a USB Thumb Drive
2. Format the USB drive with a FAT32 file system
3. Download the attached bios, unzip
4. Be sure to rename your file R4BE.CAP
5. Place the USB drive into the ROG Connect USB Port
5. Hold the Rog connect button down for 5 seconds and an amber light near the BIOS chips will flash for several seconds and when flashing has stopped the BIOS has been successfully updated.

All done!

Now you can boot directly from your NVME pcie disk (with pcie adapter).

Guys.. So I upgraded to High Sierra. Decided just to keep HFS + instead of switching over to APFS. So I get to High Sierra desktop and everything checks out fine. BUT, upon reboot, I'm getting the infinite reboot at startup. Essentially, I'll get the OS X loading progress bar and the box just reboots. Thought I did something wrong and did the upgrade all over. Still same issue. Anybody have any thoughts?

Hi Vecotornine,
I've 2 different pci adapters.
One is the Asus HYPER M.2 X4, the other one is a Chinese 10 euro adapter (no brand, no name.... but works well like the asus!).
Both the nvme disks are recognized perfectly.
When you push F8 to select the boot device you show the nvme disk to boot.

All work perfectly

Is easy to update to high sierra?.

Thanks.

@grangerardo
Yes, but you could have some issue still unsolved.
One for all: sleep/wake.
Others are related to apfs it you decide to convert to that file system.

Thanks for your answer.
So I can upgrade the system like a original mac, and then fix the issue with sleep/wake/APFS?. Is correct?.

Ok, thats great!.
Can I follow this guide to install directly high sierra?

Thanks!
