My Vivobook S410U gets stuck after loading completes; the cursor shows up, and the loading bar jumps back to the beginning, then sometimes loads into a partially rendered language selection screen. Most of the time, though, it just freezes at near-zero progress, after loading half to 4/5ths of the way.
I believe my issues have to do with the igpu/intel cfl driver, but I can't figure out what's wrong. Some people report disabling the drivers fixes it, but it doesn't help me at all.
I've tried the following:
- USB inject on/off.
- GraphicsEnabler on/off.
- Whatevergreen -igfxvesa, -igfxbeta,
- Disabling Whatevergreen -wegoff and entering invalid ig-plat and device-id
- Changing/faking skylake/kabylake ig-platform, device-id - tried 1619, the default coffeelake.
- Spoofing the DGPU with bogus stuff, as well as turning it off.
- Clover config 620 from rehabman's repo, as well as spoof config, as well as UHD630 config
- Newest whatevergreen+lilu, fakepciid+intel
- Different Aptio drivers (AptioMemFix, FixDrv/2/3)
- Different SMBIOSes (14,1/14,2/15,1/15,2)
Any help is greatly appreciated!
