10.8 have the last nvidia Driver so dont install fremi
someone on insanely-mac has fixed Dual monitor for gtx580 after upgrade to ML just with Natit kext

I'll try later, after I made a backup. But what should I use? Crazy Natit or Angry Natit?

Well, I installed Angry Natit.

The good:
-Now my card reports correctly on system profiler as a 1024mb card, instead of 1536mb.
-I do not have to reinstall anything.
-Cinebench scores the same as without this kext installed.

The bad:
-Cinebench scores the same as without this kext installed. :)
-It did not solve any problem, the system shows the same graphic errors and it hangs after the same events (turn off the screen, connect another screen, sleep and wake, etc.)

Edit: Installed Crazy Natit, same as Angry Natit, no difference, except that the card now shows as a 771mb card.
So this kexts are not the solution.
Maybe the solution is an update of Chameleon/Chimera as chris88962 said.

is this problem for most fremi card or just for GT550 Ti ? maybe we should wait until nvidia upgrade the driver for 10.8 (newer one than the Native Driver) ! or will fixed with some update from apple like (10.8.1)??

Maybe for most fermi cards.

Waiting for the apple update.

This problem is for most fermi, like 560, 570, 470, and others reported here. And it's the same problem in all this cards, it's like a bad energy management.

It affects both my GT 430 and GT 630...

EDIT: Have the issue- looking into it. Works fine until sleep/wake- garbled screen like everyone else.

EVGA 550 Ti is working just fine- I've tested install, sleep, and wake on all of the systems in my signature.

For CMOS reset in Mountain Lion- as others have stated, this is the command you have to use to patch AppleRTC- it's going to be default in MultiBeast 5.

Code:
sudo perl -pi -e 's|\x75\x30\x89\xd8|\xeb\x30\x89\xd8|' /System/Library/Extensions/AppleRTC.kext/Contents/MacOS/AppleRTC

EDIT: Just tested again on the P55M-UD2 + 550 Ti- everything is working as it should- no extra commands or anything needed to access the installer.

Tony have you tried full screen visualizer in iTunes? We have the exact same card down to the vendor ID and I get a channel exception when turning off my computer. Games will start to get very choppy after a while as well.

I appreciate you testing it out for everyone!

Hmm ... i try a blank reinstall on a new hdd this weekend. Cauz i've the exact same card...
Maybe something left from my old Lion install causes the trouble...

@tony: could u post a 'ls -l' of your /S/L/E please?
