Hi all, I have a few 9020s (2 x MT & a SFF) and a 7020 MT. This is a great guide so thanks again to
@trs96 for putting it all together.
One thing that has frustrated me for a solid 3 - 4 days now is sleep/wake issues, specifically the sleep/wake loop using the BCM943602CS wifi/bluetooth combo card (found in the 2015 Macbook Pro models) in a PCIe x1 adapter (the one by HUYUN). My reason for choosing this particular card is how well it worked in my Optiplex 7010 CustoMac Mini.
I have finally solved this problem and thought I would share it with you all. When any changes are made to the SSDT-USB (whether using
hackintool or compiled via
MaciASL) you need to clear the NVRAM, which I discovered is as simple as pressing F11 in the Clover boot menu.
So, say for the SFF you plug your bluetooth cable into the HS05 USB2 Port (Back Bottom Right) and change its USBConnector value to 255 and compile via MaciASL. Once you've copied the compiled SSDT-USB aml file to your EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/patched folder, restart the machine, then once in Clover before its boots your MacOS disk hit F11 on your keyboard (I had to use a standard USB keyboard as my Logitech K380 bluetooth keyboard wouldn't work) to reset the NVRAM. Once complete you'll be back to the Clover boot loader, boot MacOS as normal and your system should sleep and wake perfectly using your bluetooth keyboard or mouse.
This should also work with similar combo cards, one of which I know is the popular BCM9430CS2 from the 2013 Macbook Air.
Hope this helps everyone who has or is still struggling with sleep thing like I have. I don't yet have an AMD RX 5XX card to start testing sleep/wake, but I guess that is another ball game. It would be amazing when we finally crack that one!
