Hi guys. Maybe you can help me with this..
I've successfully set up my high sierra installation with Asus Rampage V extreme (same x99 chipset) and
Intel core i7-5960X (same FCLGA2011-3 socket), Aorus GTX 1080Ti extreme 11g.
But I need one more graphics card for CUDA calculations, and when I install second card OS won't boot showing me this:

Display blinks several times and finally I see

I've uploaded zipped EFI partition contents, maybe it can help.
Would be very grateful for any idea, because I'm stuck at this moment.
System perfectly works with one GPU, but installing second one causes conflict..
did you install nvidia webdriver? I don't see it checked in your config.plist (i only don't understand why it then even works with 1 card...)

Web driver is installed of course.
It may be unchecked because of my chaotic experiments trying to get it working.

Hi, KGP

I followed your guide and successfully install 10.13.2 on X99-II-A. However, it wakes immediately after sleep and lost attached usb devices. The reason may be I'm using gc-alpine ridge thunderbolt 3 card for LG Ultrafine 5K monitor. I saw the thunderbolt 3 pcie implementation in your X299 guide, does it fix thunderbolt 3 card problems? And I don't know how to modify it for my thunderbolt 3 card. Can you please help me with this problem?

Thanks

The TB PCI implementation is of purely cosmetic nature. It will not resolve your TB issues..

Hi everyone, so for those with X99-E motherboard with 5820k, and 1050 ti, I managed to get into the install screen, currently installing it as I type this. I'll post my EFI folder once I know for sure it is working, but it is essentially the stock Unibeast USB installer with some tweaks on the config.plist. I just copied some of the patches on kgp's config.plist.

Update to to my fellow 5820k peeps. I totally forgot how I made mine to work since I was mostly guessing it lol, BUT I managed to get into the install screen again with KGP's EFI. Just make sure to read his instructions WORD FOR WORD and you'll be able to make his EFI work. I missed few checkboxes the first time I tried his EFI.. If you don't want to read, you can follow this short guide but I highly recommend reading his guide word for word. Anyways here's how I made his EFI to work:

1. Make an Install disk if you haven't (I made mine through Unibeast)
2. Check your bios settings (Note: I enabled VT-D)
3. Modify the attached EFI folder by generating your own SN and UUID (dont touch anything else)
4. Paste the EFI folder you just prepared into the install disk EFI folder.

and I hope after this, everything works for you guys! Good luck! :)

Note: When I first made mine to work, my USB ports weren't working, but the usb type C does. Thankfully I have a type c to type a adapter and thats where I installed my Logitech receiver and it works just fine. I can't confirm if this EFI the USBs are working.

Once again, thank you KGP. Using your guide, I was able to successfully upgrade directly from 10.12.6 to 10.13.3 without a hitch.
I've noticed that my 1080Ti performs ever so slightly better in High Sierra. Has anything changed that you're aware of? (based on cosmetic tests and performance in Resolve 14)

Gentlemen,

Are you aware that none of the USB3 injector kexts load? I just realized this yesterday. The X99_Injector USB 3.kext doesn't load no matter where I put it, and the kext by DSM2 doesn't load either. So basically we're running with the port limit patch, InjectUSB, and FixOwnership. And it's the same on 10.13.3 and 10.12.6 too.

The real problem is that I have an Antelope Orion32 USB3 sound card, and while working in Pro Tools, the audio randomly cuts out, and only white noise remains or distorted audio. if I change the sampling rate in Audio/MIDI setup it starts working again for a while, but it's quite disturbing.

Following @Mathew82 from InsanelyMac, the port limit patch changed to AppleUSBXHCI - 837d940f 0f839704 0000 > 837d941e 90909090 9090 within 10.13.4 Public Beta 1.

However, within 10.13.3 (17D47), the old patch should still apply. Which version of 10.13 you are currently on?

Thanks for your appreciated feedback, anyway.
