I'm in the process of purchasing parts for my Hackintosh and I noticed that I only saw Crucial brand RAM under the parts list.
I was wondering, has anyone successfully tested other brands or am I limited with Crucial RAM only?
Good evening to everyone, I'm trying to install on my pc Hackintosh with High Sierra but I’ve got some problems after installing it, especially when I’m installing the kext.
I’d like to install my version of Hackintosh on a second Hard Disk SATA 80 GB to make some test, before buying a latter...
I tried to remove one and it boots fine, with two Clover doesn't get past osxaptiodrv.
I can see the system in High Sierra only recognize one bank (dimm 0 and dimm 1).
The motherboard has two banks for a total of 4 dimm slots.
I tried to insert manually the modules in plist (slot 1 and slot 3)...

My apologies if this is not the correct place for this post... :geek:
I have seen someone had luck with above mentioned laptop with a 7th Gen Intel i5 Processor. But unfortunately he was unable to reply my requests. :(
If someone had luck with the above laptop, please share...
Any clue what that could be? I've tried adding the ram slots in Clover and also moved a couple of modules around but I can only get 40GB recognized out of 48GB.
Bios update to the latest version solved my problem.

I'm thinking of building a new rig for fairly heavy usage that will likely need to deal with a decent amount of I/O and I'd like to have a decent capacity for multithreading (but no massive graphics card needed nor any gaming capacity) so am considering the following setup (which would...

Being frustrated about the present Customac Pro hardware configuration proposed by Tonymacx's Buyer's guide, I decided to go for a new Customac Pro Build based on the Broadwell-E CPU, X99 chip-set and LGA2011-v3 socket with Mac OS Sierra beating records, running like hell, behaving absolutely...
Hey guys/gals. I recently finished my hackintosh build, and everything for the most part is looking great. However, due to wanting to upgrade to 64gb in the future, I went with 16gb 3200mhz ram (1x16) by kingston. My only issue is since I went with 16gb of ram within a single stick, my "about...

I am checking out compatibility with existing parts i already have installed. This build will be for music Production
as well as light internet use. I will not require gaming as of now. it's sole purpose will be music production.

I'm using Clover, no...
I have GA-Z170X-UD5-TH and 6700K and I was planning to buy 64GB of Crucial Sport LTs or 32GB of Elites but I cant find them anywhere. I am living in Finland and I need some RAMs asap so I can get my new build running. Any recommendations? Thank you in advance!
