Those files are for your PCIe devices to show in system report, and/or function properly if they don't yet. The .aml files are loaded during boot and overrides the way your PCIe devices are shown or work in/for the OS. Since it's unlikely the author of the files has the same build as you do, it's possible you might have to change your .aml files in order for them to work for your components.
