Hello again!

Thanks for the guide!

I am in the middle of installing High Sierra.
I used the generic config.plist from Rehabman for my system configuration.

I will continue with on the section "post process" today....

Could you please repost your config.plist? So I can compare it?

And I assume this guide IS edited for High Sierra? :) The difference for high Sierra is written in the magent font? :)

Cheeers!

Hello there! :)

I'm also interested in trying this guide, but I'm not that experienced for trying to come up with stuff like the config.plist :(

If you succeed, please tell me and share your results.

Thanks in advance!

I've generated a power management SSDT with ssdtPRGen.sh and copied it to /EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/patched/.
After restart per instructions the machine now reboots every time when it gets to the apple and progress bar.
In verbose mode, I can not see the error because it is too quick.
I've been searching dmesg and in console for the error, but I don't know what exactly to look for.

I had to boot Clover in recovery mode, mounted EFI with "diskutil mount /dev/disk0s1" and then removed said SSDT.
I get into OS again without the patched SSDT, therefore I suspect it.

Thanks

No.
As per post #1, this guide/thread is for an Ivy Bridge/HD4000 Sony.
Your laptop is Haswell.

What should i do to make it work on Haswell?

Sony Vaio SVF15319SNB:
  • Processor: Intel i5-4200U (Fourth Generation)
  • Memory: 4GB RAM
  • Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 4400 & Nvidia GeForce GT 740M

I've installed the High sierra using unibeast method.

Here are the things not working:
  • Keyboard & Touchpad
  • Audio
  • Graphics (Intel HD 4400)
  • Battery
  • Wifi & Bluetooth
  • Camera

Installed clover bootloader on the High sierra partition. Clover works but there's some problem. I'm able to boot it only using usb,
otherwise stuck at apple logo. When I did verbose boot, it was showing some problem with AppleACPI.

How should I get everything above working?
Can following this guide make it work?

Off-topic.
Open a separate thread; follow guide already linked.
We do not use Unibeast with laptops.
