Hi Community,
i am in need of help. Yesterday i installed my BT/Wifi Card from osxwifi without any problems. BT and WIFI works like charm but i can't get those Continuity & Handoff features working. Which is strange because it's supposed to be working natively.
So here is some short info about my system:
Hardware (excerpt)
GA-Z68XP-UD3 (UEFI BIOS)
i5 2500k
MSI GTX 970 (with NVidida Driver)
PC/Hackintosh - Apple Broadcom Bcm94360cd - 802.11 A/B/G/N/AC + Bluetooth 4.0 (from OSXWIFI)
Software
macOS Sierra 10.12.1 (direct update via clover from El Capitan)
Clover Bootloader
What i did recently
While upgrading i followed SquishyTia's guide because 10.11. ran on Mac Pro 3,1:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...ro4-1-system-definitions.200868/#post-1325607
Again, no problems here.
To get iMessage working i followed P1LGR1M's guide AFTER having updated to 10.12.1:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/an-idiots-guide-to-imessage.196827/
I never cared about iMessage working before but after this guide it worked kind of...
Kind of, because i have the problem that on one day it works like on a normal mac and on other days
it doesn't work at all. But i am 99% sure that everything in my SMBios settings is fine.
So maybe there is already an error here..?
What my system says about handoff
System Profile says handoff is working. Here are screens from the BT and WIFI sections (sorry they are in german.. basically they say everything works).
BT:
WIFI:
What Continuity Activation Tool says
I guess that everything is fine..?
So that is where i am. I already tried logging out of iCloud on all devices. Did not do anything.
I was thinking about doing a complete fresh install and be very careful about anything SMBios related.
Do you think that would help?
Is there maybe another solution to this? Am i missing something?
Thanks in advance
Chris
