You have to get handoff and continuity working... I did it by buying a real Mac wifi + BT chip. There is an official forum for this on here. Good luck

i used broadcom wifi + bluetooth dw1560

Did you get continuity fully working? Again, I would look at the tutorial to make sure you have everything set up properly. Only Apple Genuine WiFi + BT cards get the best results...

where did u buy genuine apple wifi +bt cards?

my broadcom works on wifi and bt 10.12.6 . ..the only problem i cannot makr calls on facetime but it'sactivated

This guide: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...ini-cards-pcie-and-mini-pcie-adapters.147734/
Is the official guide for handoff cards. Make sure you have a PCI x1 slot available on your motherboard because there are issues if you use any other PCI slot ( I don't know why)

However, before you get into that, try using the Continuity Activation Tool from GitHub. It forces Continuity on unsupported hardware and it could work for you

So, am I understanding things correctly here? If you fix iMessage, it will also fix FaceTime? I have yet to find anywhere (though I haven't searched everywhere here) that explicitly states that the "an idiots guide to iMessage" solution will also fix FaceTime. There are posts that allude to it. I just want to make sure before I go down this route.

Hello,

I am using 10.12.6 and I have gone through the Idiot's Guide to Fix iMessage walkthrough on how to set this up and it seems like everything has passed as per the walkthrough, but I am getting a "You cannot sign in to iMessage on this Mac at this time"... please contact customer support.

Any thoughts and help? I am stumped... it seems like I have tried everything!
