I would use Mac Pro if I were using discrete gfx.

Have had that smbios Installed before, but got no Airplay Mirroring with that. Now i'm using a Mac Mini smbios.plist and all works fine. Discrete GFX and IntelHD3000 both working, also Airplay Mirroring.

I had a similar sounding problem before I attempted to use an SSDT. I had not required one previously on the DP builds of ML nor on Lion so assumed I didn't need it, but for some reason I do need it on the RTM/GM build of ML...

Thinking about it, my requirement for the SSDT coincides with the switch to UEFI minus the DSDT, which makes a lot more sense than the change of version, of course.

Congratulations of your great work.
I have a question.

I could use a dvi to hdmi cable (or dvi to vga cable) for the installation ?

Because I don't have monitor. Only LCD tv with hdmi and VGA.

Another possibility use my imac as monitor with dvi to mini display port ?

Thanks

Hi Seahawk, yes, a DVI to HDMI cable should be absolutely fine.

Glad to hear that you're up-and-running and that dual GPU support appears to function on ML. I would be very interested to know if you can get triple (or even quad) monitor support running across your GFX cards.

Previously, when I was running Lion, I had to use Mac Pro 3,1 to get triple monitor support working with my HD5770, but when I moved to ML I ditched the HD5770 and went back to dual-monitor with the HD3000. I have found that the Mac-Mini SMBios works best with the motherboard by far.

Really thanks for the help.
I really appreciate it.

Karacho:
Will the MAc Mini smbios work with a nVidia graphics card? I have 9500GT. It works well with Mac Pro, but I want to try Mac Mini.

Also, do you know if it's possible to change smbios on pre-existing installation of OS X? Or is it better to do a new installation?

Hi,

Thanks for your help.
I just have a try to update my BIOS but unfortunally it still in F10.

What i've done:

- Create DOS USB Stick ( via this method http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/46707-ms-dos-bootable-flash-drive-create.html )
- copy the autoexec.bat / flasher / BIOS UEFI rom to the folder "flash" on the USB Stick
- Reboot and boot with the USB stick
- CD flash
- FLASHEFI Z8MAD2H3.U1B
- Wait for 1min then restart
- The computer acts strangely for 10sec (ON / OFF) I though it was bricked! :(
- Computer boots normaly but the BIOS is still in F10 :(

Do you have an idea about how to flash it correctly?

Thanks.

Well, Ive tried everything and cannot upgrade mine rev 1.3 to uefi bios, it seems that my board has some kind of egyptian curse...I could upgrade only to F10, and not working with a 3770k, so I exchanged with a friend who has a 2600k...so no uefi bios....no ivy bridge for me...keep tryin ideas..

Can't see multibeast settings either

hi memmerson thank you for the guide.
I'm about to upgrade to ML, but for some reason I can't see the multibeast settings images of your first post.
Am I the only one having this problem?
I can't see them either. Been trying to get my up by trail and error.
