Photos app makes system freeze

Update: All still working smoothly! God I missed having all my photos on my Hackintosh.

I literally think all I did was enable the integrated GPU.

Having the same setup as germant52 and issue is the same. I'm running 10.13.6. I needed to do some long rendering and computer rebooted at random times. Fixed by temporarily changing permissions for Photo library file so Photos can't access it. Renaming library did't help since Photos found the renamed file and continued indexing in the backgroud.
However, looking forward to update to Majove and will see if the problem remains.

Wrong description for the graphics in previous post. Confirming it is Radeon RX 580 4096 MB now.

Same issue with my setup... it’s based on caseysj‘s golden build... no solution do far. I will try something out of the things which are written here and let you guys know.

It did not...
Problem was RAM related. Switching off XMP in Bios solved the random freezes on my Thomas3 system.
