any tips to use usb patch in the 10.14.1 beta? seems usb patch 10.14.0 not work with 10.14.1 beta

The port limit patch currently does not work anymore under 10.14.1. If nobody comes up with solution, a board specific kext limiting available USB ports to </= 15 will become once more absolutely mandatory.

ok will try that USB port limit kext then

I'm not on Mojave yet, waiting for 10.14.1 to start testing, but your Vega should work with that monitor without an issue.

Also is there a reason why you're using the DP on Titan-Ridge? Use DisplayPort on your Vega. Your monitor is 3840x1600 just like mine and @kgp's and you don't even need DP 1.4 on these monitors since they are not true 4k anyway.

I'm running the 75Hz version of this monitor (two of them) @ 75Hz without any issues. DisplayPort only on both.

Mojave + HDMI = 3840x1600 75Hz but with stand-by/sleep issue (not tested yet in High Sierra)
DP = black screen also in bios
DP over Titan = black screen only after Mojave boot (not tested yet in High Sierra)

With High Sierra i was using a nitro + RX 580 and everything worked fine, but with Mojave iMacPro1 .1 black screen even in installation after boot

Thx for your guide. My System is running fine. But since today i got a problem with FinalCut. I cuted and exported many projects the last days, was so nice. Export to 1080p with GPU Acceleration (Vega 64) was a dream. Nice FPS. But since today, i changed nothing, it seems to be FinalCut is not using GPU for export. Tooks 8-10 Times longer for identical project. All looks fine. All 3D Apps using GPU, VideoProc is using GPU for Encoding too. But FinalCut or Compressor dont want to use it any more. Anyone is knowing the reason or even a fix?

My System:
  • Core I9 7960X
  • 128 GB RAM
  • ASUS X299 Prime Deluxe
  • Gigabyte RX Vega 64

Thanks in advance for any help. I dont know the reason for that, even if i think about that i changed nothing. Hardware is recognized correct etc. Apps and Software is on the latest Version. I did even remove FCPX/Compressor (including all settings) and reinstall. No changes at all. :(

Remove TB devices from GC-Titan Ridge before system sleep.

I have no TB devices connected right now

I don't know why you have issue on wake. You use the same system like I do, thus everything should fully work as described.

Based on the poor information you provide so far I am also not able to help in any way.

Good luck,

KGP

Please read me recent requests along my 4 threads. I always ask for the same information. I am tired of permanently repeating myself. Screenshots of BIOS settings, EFI-Folder, system DSDT.aml, PCI screenshot, IOREG.save, etc..

Anything that helps in investigating your issue.

Code:

Hope i have attached all necessary.
I also tried to remove ABWB Combo card, H50i USB cable, 10GB card, TB card and one by one *.aml, without success.

Unfortunately, i do not have the necessary knowledge to solve the problem on my own and i have not yet been able to find the right solution in this forum.

Thanks for your patience
MM
