use DisplayPort, macOS don't support HDMI 2.0, your mainboard HDMI version is 1.4

Integrated Graphics Processor-Intel® HD Graphics support:
  1. 1 x D-Sub port, supporting a maximum resolution of 1920x1200@60 Hz
  2. 1 x DVI-D port, supporting a maximum resolution of 1920x1200@60 Hz
    * The DVI-D port does not support D-Sub connection by adapter.
  3. 1 x DisplayPort, supporting a maximum resolution of 4096x2304@60 Hz
    * Support for DisplayPort 1.2 version.
  4. 1 x HDMI port, supporting a maximum resolution of 4096x2160@24 Hz
    * Support for HDMI 1.4 version.

Hi, I’m having a question.

Gigabyte z370m ds3h with i3-8350k (UHD 630)

On the Gigabyte website I read:

1 x HDMI port, supporting a maximum resolution of 4096x2160@24 Hz
* Support for HDMI 1.4 version.

I have a 4K display but the maximum resolution I get is 1440p @ 60hz.

is this how it is supposed to be or I’m doing something Wrong?
