Please see latest zips from post #177 I have applied the windows 7 osfix to DSDT. Still the wifi won't turn on.

You never answered my question regarding WiFi on Windows.

I didn't see any question regarding WiFi on Windows. I imagine such a question might be "does the wifi work on windows" which I cannot currently answer as I don't have a windows partition currently. Maybe I'll check on an ubuntu live usb... Would that work? Is that what you're asking?

My mistake. I'm at work now, can't check on this. My theory is that the hardware failed which is pretty lame considering I bought it less than 2 weeks ago...

May not be hardware failure.
Verify in Windows.

While I wait for the ability to check on the WiFi operation on an alternative OS. Do you have any ideas on why my trackpad is not detected in system preferences. It has the unfortunate result of not being able to right click. It also moves slowly? TY

Edit: it's just stuck on the Mac default setting in which right click is accomplished through clicking with two fingers which is a little cumbersome IMO.
