I am on Step 3 of the installation. I have chosen my APFS formatted hard drive, and run the installation. It goes through and reboots 3 times and then I get the grey screen message of 'Your Computer has encountered an error'

Anyone else had this same issue. Trying to figure out where the installer has gone wrong.

I have built the Bootable installer. Mounted the EFI folder and added the necessary EFI and Kext files.

So wondering what else could be failing the install.

EDIT:

After trying the installer 3 times now it worked. Who knows.....

So I have installed Catalina (10.15.7). And have done all the steps in the post installation section of the guide.

But the machine keeps restarting, and then restarts and a dialog box comes up saying the computer rebooted because of an error. Here is the report. Anyone know what the issue may be.

What port on the GT 710 graphic card are you connected to ?

Have you tried booting from Sniki's EFI folder ? Does that give the same results ?
