Hey,
I am facing same issue. My laptop hang some times even if there is not much load, also i noticed something keeps my laptop busy.. processing light keep blinking like some heavy work is going on even if i close all apps.
The only thing i noticed eating memory is kernel_task, i saw it using Activity Monitor. it take approx. 500MB of memory is it normal?
This is how i install:
Mavericks installation using uniBeast.
bootflags used while installing, -x GraphicsEnabler=No PCIRootUID=1.
DSDTFree installation from MultiBeast USB3.0 selected (without it my laptop don't detect any usb drive).
SMBios is MacBook Air 5,2.
Power Management working using patched mach_kernel, -xcpm hack (P States: 8, 14, 17, 20, 22, 23, 24, 25, 28, 29).
SSDT created using ProBook Installer.
DSDT patches & kexts:
graphics_HD4K_low.txt, graphics_PNLF_ivy_sandy.txt, patched AppleHDA & audio_HDEF-layout12.txt, system_IRQ.txt, ACPIBacklight.kext, ACPIBatteryManager.kext
Do i need more patches as you suggested in previous post #12?? which one should i install?
