Hey guys, I'm fairly new to this and I was hoping someone could help out my situation here.

About a year ago I installed Windows 10 onto my computer with no intent of installing Mac OS. I didn't know the difference until recently, but I apparently installed Windows 10 in Legacy mode after checking msinfo32, although my BIOS has a UEFI option. Right now I have three hard drives, 1 SSD for Windows, 1 HDD for my files in Windows, and 1 more HDD that I got with the intent to install Mac OS Sierra on it. I heard that I can't install it on my current HDD or SSD because it was running Windows legacy mode on it, then I heard that if installing on a separate drive from Windows, I can do so.

I have a Mac Book Pro from 2012 which is quite slow hence my intention of installing Mac OS on my faster PC. I have downloaded Mac OS Sierra and done the terminal command that transfers the Mac OS Sierra .app file onto my USB. Next I heard you have to install the Clover Bootloader onto the USB. I've read somewhere that I have to install it in legacy mode, but that's the part I don't really understand. When I open up the clover.pkg file, choose the install location and then click customise, which should I tick? And after installing the Bootloader onto my USB, what are all the kexts I need to put into the kext folder? And which folder specifically? Is it the "Other" folder or another one. And once that is all done when plugging into my PC what are the steps to install it onto my extra HDD specifically meant for OS X?

I hope someone can take time out of their day to help me and if I was not clear in any part of my post or you did not understand what I said please feel free to ask and I will try to get back to you ASAP. Hope I can clarify or fix up my mistakes. Thanks in advance!

EDIT: Now I've seen somewhere that I can convert my Windows Legacy mode to UEFI using something called MBR2GPT. I'm not going to do it straight away because I am not too sure and would rather wait for someone smarter to support this decision. I really wouldn't want my Windows data to be lost which is why I'm quite sceptical.

See https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-multi-booting-legacy-on-separate-drives.212994/

On your Mac, download the Sierra install app.
Download UniBeast app - https://www.tonymacx86.com/resources/unibeast-7-1-1.333/
Follow the guide to create your Sierra UniBeast installer - https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...ierra-on-any-supported-intel-based-pc.200564/
Take USB to Win10 PC, disconnect the Windows drives, connect the new drive, insert USB, boot PC with USB and install MacOS.
See MultiBoot guide from there.
