That one! I have tried disabling TB and nothing changes.. Weird as hell..
Yep same, I even try some SSDT for Thunderbolt.

Hello @Loloflatsix. A question, for the patch of USBs as you have done, they work for me to update but some USB 3 works like 2.
I have a 5700 XT. Should I use WEG? Should I change the SMBIOS to 7.1?
Thanks.
I keep my kexts and my High Sierra SSDTs, minus that of my previous graphic Nvidia.
Hey guys.
I tried SMBIOS MacPro7,1 today. Everything runs very well except system will pop-up memory error warning while login.
Memory Modules Misconfigured
I am using OpenCore. Anyone know how to solve this issue?
Thanks.
Got it. Thanks my friendI'd say it is only needed if while trying to install you get the "this device is not supported in this platform" message in verbose mode, just after loading installation from clover. For instance what happened with 10.13.5 and SMBIOS 19,1.
I haven't tried moving to that SMBIOS, I'd say X299 is much similar to the iMacPro architecture than that of a MacPro7,1 which would be more similar to a C621 chipset, thus I believe it would make no benefit. In my case, I have some software which is hard linked to my system ID and serial, so changing would only have me having to authorize everything again.
So you know the ACPI location of the TB in the new board??Yep same. I even try some SSDT for Tthunderbolt.
WEG.kext is no more needed.
I use Kgp XHCI kext by editing info.plist for Macpro 7,1

I use Clover 5100 with VirtualSMC.kext , and I got the same message after login.
You could try the following, open your .plist with CC, go to graphics and enable "Inject ATI", save and close CC, open your .plist with Xcode or PlistEditor Pro and instead of removing the "Inject ATI", select NO, (should be on YES)... Save your .plist and give it a try.I use Clover 5100, but I'm still with FakeSMC. I tried not to use WEG but I got a black screen.
Will it be to use FakeSMC? or to use SMBIOS iMacPro1,1? I use DisplayPort.

For some reason Clover seems to load the Inject ATI by default, and setting it to NO has made the trick for me. Give it a try.
Here is a screenshot from my EFI Folder :I use Clover 5100, but I'm still with FakeSMC. I tried not to use WEG but I got a black screen.

Hello @Loloflatsix , the USBs work now. Here is a screenshot from my EFI Folder :
- In drivers64UEFI : SMCHelper.efi
- In kexts/Other/ : VirtualSMC.kext , VegaGraphicsFixup.kext (No WEG.kext)
