Please help me! I feel like pulling my hair out:banghead: I need help from experienced members of the community; I have been trying to install OSX Mavericks on my rig for about 2 months now with limited success. The majority of the time I would get a “this is not a kext ‘blah blah blah’ cpu=0 backtrace” error at some point (it will be attached), but the furthest I’ve gotten is pasted the installer.app and setup. app and into the actual OS where I ran Multibeast post install, but upon reboot I ran into the same cpu=0 error as before. Now, no matter what settings I use on Multibeast or clover OSX installers (both of which I am comfortable using) I still run into the same cpu=0 error. Most of the time once it hangs it requires a cold reboot, but after this current Multibeast configuration it just says waiting for “root device…”a lot while trying to load installer.app. [Yes I already optimized and updated the BIOS vF4 (which I am also comfortable with) and I’ve disabled: VT-d, Turbo Boost, Fast Boot and generate C3 states and generate C6/C7 states. I use the dedicated GPU not the iGPU, I have an HDMI cable going from my GPU to my 40” Sony Bravia television, yes I get picture without a problem. I know all of my hardware is functional being I have both windows 7 /8.1 and Linux Mint installed with no problems. It passed all stress tests.] I have followed every guide and various [SUCCESS] build forums that were similar to mine, I even posted and asked a question prior to this and still no luck.

Now that I think I have provided all of the necessary background information about my problem I would like to ask my question; can someone PLEASE suggest to me either a Multibeast or clover configuration capable of installing and booting Mavericks 10.9.4? If you feel any changes to the BIOS should be made PLEASE suggest them, I am open to anything at this point. THANK YOU in advance.:headbang:

make sure you have disabled integrated graphics in the bios also make sure you have AHCI enabled also vt-D disabled then try and boot the Unibeast Pen drive and boot with -v and see what happens

I found this link from Google. The person who posted has some similar issue with his Hackintosh.
I am not an experienced user, relatively new to this forum, but I started to build Hackintosh since a year ago. I had build 2 hackintosh in total, they all worked pretty well.

I didn't run into the CPU=0 Kernel Panic though, I used boot flag -x , -v and they worked well for me.
Do notice that my set up is a bit different from you, I didn't choose high end MOBO like you did.
The thing I wanna point out is: when I built my system, I used the boot flags I mentioned above a few times, until I use Multibeast to install the bootloader.

Another thing is since you had tried a lot of ways to solve things from the software (OS) level, did you think of other things? Like from hardware level, did you install your CPU correctly? Or any other things??

Just some random suggestions. Not sure whether will work, but good luck!!!!

And don't get frustrated, I encountered some issues too, they seemed complex, but sometimes the solutions are simple. If you learned programming before, you know what I mean. You miss one ; sometimes it will show you 4,5 errors.:lol::lol:

you seem to misunderstand as the link provided is for a Virtual Machine, i already have OSX 10.10 Beta 2 on a Virtual Machine on windows, i want native osx 10.9.4 on my SSD
