No, unfortunately I could not make my hackintosh working. I have found out that these guides are not designed for ASUS mainboards. I have tried to receive support but the only thing that I was able to do was installing ML... from there on I have no succeeded.
I was sure here I could have found...
Interesting. I bet in few years we will not longer battle in order to install OSX in our traditional computers... I just hope it will still be a better OS
I would just try changing USB slots despite they are 2.0 or 3.0... make all the possible tests, the USB drive matters a lot, it is the most important one. I can boot from it only if it is in one specific slot
So it is not like having a real mac... I am planning to use a hackintosh for working, but it looks like I should not... good luck on your issue, I would like to see if you can make it
I think you may start by reading guides, then trying, noticing than something doesn't work, search for the solution in here and if you don't find answers ask in the forum.
In this moment, even if my ML still doesn't work, I can boot from both Mac and Win. They are in two separate drives and I just choose manually what disk I want to boot from by pressing F8 on start up (asus mainboard)
I apologize because i am not going to help you as I don't have a clue about your problem, but I was wondering how you made a fusion drive on a hackintosh :)
I had the same issue, I have solved by moving keyboard and mouse in other slots.. you can do it on the flight as you are trying to use them. It worked fine for me.
Bump :)
I am still lost... somebody told me it is easy, but I am battling since 3 weeks now...
I am considering paying someone who knows very well this stuff and can assist me through skype
I need a computer that works
Hey, thanks for this post. I was wondering if System Definitions can alterate the proper functionality of the video card. In this moment I can't see anything in my screen, I used Mac Pro 3.1, when I used iMac video worked fine.
Hi, thanks for the guide.
Do you think these bios settings work fine with a P8Z77-V as well?
I am experencing a lot of issues and I don't know anymore where to look for fixes.
