I'll try it again tonight.
Out of interest can you just delete kexts out of the System/Library/Extensions folder or do you have to remove them in a certain way?
Interested to see if anyone's got the Back To My Mac feature to work on their Lion install?
I can't complete the setup for it, wondering if it's a hackintosh specific problem? I'm using the Lnx2mac ethernet kext.
Mine's running pretty smoothly with only two major issues:
1) No sound. I've tried everything but cannot get any sound in Lion which is strange as i had no problem in snow leopard. I've run the lion version of multibeast multiple times and used the rollback kext and even the alc889 kext...
Here's a couple of screenshots from verbose mode. Really stuck with this one.
I tried rBoot but it doesnt seem to do anything different. I'm not sure if i'm using it propely but when the bootloader appears i just select my Lion partition and it kernel panics the same as it normally would.
Hi Guys,
I hope you can help. I've had a search of the forums and not found a solution so far.
I had upgraded my Snow Leopard installation to Lion using xMove without any hitches. That was until i upgraded my Chameleon Bootloader to Chimera to try and get iCloud working.
Now i'm unable to...
Sorted!
It was the router. I have a Belkin Play Max and despite having a compatible with Mac sticker on the box, it doesn't support Bonjour!
They released an update for it three days ago after a lot of people moaned, and now Bonjour works perfectly. I'm happy :D
I'm having no luck getting my iPhone remote app to find iTunes
They're definitely on the same network, I've disabled IPv6 and gone through the iTunes settings with a fine tooth comb and I'm convinced everything is correct there.
I'm currently using the latest version of lnx2mac's ethernet...
Thanks a lot for pointing me in the direction of that guide notshy, I've been looking at some of your posts regarding 64bit with this card and I've been contemplating having a go at getting it working. Installed Kabyl's bootloader and had a play around and yeah got 64bit now :)
One thing...
I haven't tried yet, run my audio through external speakers.
From what I've read, audio over HDMI can be very difficult to achieve, some people are claiming they've found a way to do it. Think it might be more hassle than it's worth.
Re: HDMI Port - Gigabyte 5770
Sorted!
It was ridiculously simple!
Just installed the Uakari framebuffer kext through MultiBeast. Now i have a fully functional HDMI port at last.
:D
Re: HDMI Port - Gigabyte 5770
 I feel like a bit of a retard, I hadn't noticed I had a display port on there, I thought it was a second HDMI.
Lol so yeah I've got the same card as you.
I tried going back to basics like you said and reinstalling just the basic graphics kexts through...
I am currently running the Custom Mac Pro build stable and I'm looking for some advice on getting the HDMI ports working on my Gigabyte 5770. To start with I'm not too worried about getting audio working, just want dual video.
At the moment trying to boot with HDMI gets me no further than...
I believe this is just a cosmetic issue. My memory runs at 1600 but shows as only 1333 in About This Mac.
I think I saw a fix for it somewhere on the forum...
 Wow you're actually on to something here. I followed your instructions and used Kext Beast to install the kext. Afterwards I copied the kext to the Extra/Extension folder.
Now for the first time I have wake from sleep and I am able to use the wireless keyboard in Chameleon! Thanks...
Actually made a bit of progress on this.
By copying the IOBluetoothFamily.kext (modified as per Not Shy's guide) into my Extra/Extensions folder and then rebuilding permissions and restarting, Chameleon loads up and the wireless keyboard is working!
Subsequent reboots still suggest the problem...
