Z690 Chipset Motherboards and Alder Lake CPU

Okay I've just refreshed some files in the EFI I provided. Looks like it was an older version of OpenCanopy.efi that was in the OC/Drivers folder (plus some others) that was maybe causing the icons glitch. It should work now.
???
now i only have 1 icon.

I have followed this thread since the beginning so i know about SSDT PLUG ALT and the new way of naming cores as devices; machine boots and performs fine, and the USB map works on Monterey.

I only have issues enabling USB 3 on MOJAVE

With XHCIPORTLIMIT quirk enabled all ports work but usb2 speed.

I used usbinjectall 0.7.8 from daliansky actually

I have to test with USB LEGACY kext now, it's not documented that much but i think i can make it. Having Mojave to run 32bit apps and old but still capable audio cards that use old drivers and control panels is very useful. Apart from the USB 3 issue, the cpuid change was the only change needed
Wasn't trying to imply anything, just dummy checking. Perhaps I replied to the wrong comment as well.

EDIT: Ah, I see. A comment you were replying to previously only had SSDT-PLUG in a list from @Middleman. Was likely just syntax. Again, just making sure. What CPU and Board are you using again?

Yes. And you need to press Enter to run that first. It will reboot your system and your new EFI boot menu should appear (if everything is working). You need to do this to clear the NVRAM from the previous Clover bootloader.

Okay I think I know what it is, please replace the config.plist in your EFI with this one.
I think it was something to do with the OpenCanopy settings. It wasn't set to AUTO Flavour, hence drive icons aren't showing up.

OK, I have Z390 Aorus Master. Update to the latest BIOS F8e. Set BIOS like here: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/z690-chipset-and-alder-lake-cpus.316618/post-2301477 but Re-size bar disabled because you have RX580. After that you can use the EFI I provided in this post, to try. Meantime I will prepare the EFI for your config.
Tell me what WIFI, Bluetooth you use. Also, do you use NVME M2 SSD? You install Monterey or other MacOS?

@easy31 use this EFI, made for you. In PlatformInfo put your network MAC and serial number, system UUID..... for iMacPro1,1. Inside is the latest OpenCore 8.1.

Hi there.

Sorry to add this but ...

I do not think you will get full USB3 speeds from Mojave on the Z690. Lucky to get the ports reacting at all.

I've done a lot of testing and research, going back a while now, and so far neither High Sierra or Mojave allow easy configuration of USB3 ports. This has been an issue since the 500-series was introduced. 400-series is fine. There has been some under-the-hood change that has caused this.

:)
