My 4430s shipped with a camera. The 4430s that I got for the i5 did not come with one. My camera seems to be the same one that's in the 4530s, but I have not checked the hardware manuals for part numbers.

I pulled just over 8 hours out of it in Windows yesterday. Lower brightness on an SSD with 4GB ram. Pretty good for a mid-range notebook.

I'll check mine when I get home tonight.

Re: iSight Video camera kext for 4530S I'll give it a shot and update this post. EDIT - This is after I installed the kext and rebooted. I didn't check it before I installed it. Did it add the [Fixed]?

This is because you have a stuck key. Mine was the B key. It's just an anomaly from waking from sleep. A good fix for this is to turn off key-stroke repeat in the System Preferences -> Keyboard -> "Key Repeat"

Awesome! I'll bet the celeron models are really cheap, and a great option if you're already planning on upgrading the proc from the i3 to an i5/i7

This is false. I installed Snow Leopard and got lines in more than just the browser. All over the place.

10.7.3 will not fix this issue. I'm 90% sure.

Whoa whoa whoa, wait a minute. So the whole thing about the graphics being muxed in the OS is just the way they implemented the BIOS? Or is this an actual hardware design? If this BS about the discrete graphics (like how they work on the Dell Vostros) is just because the company is freaking...
