FWIW - I can't get it to output 2560x1440. It looks like 1920x1200 is the highest I can get at the moment.

using HDMI port on the NUC? this usually tops out at 1920x1200. but, connecting it to my EIZO EV2736W I'm getting the full 2560x1440. although only with 30Hz refresh rate. mousepointer looks a bit choppy...

Yes using HDMI. Found this though:

Intel graphics does not support dual-link, therefore 1920x1200 is the maximum for DVI and HDMI, 2560x1440 is only possible with a display port port. This is stated in every specification sheet.

yes, I have read the documentation. but it's not entirely correct! as I wrote, I do own an EIZO EV2736W which supports 2560x1440 @30Hz and the NUC is connected using its HDMI port -> DVI on the EIZO. I am using the native resolution of the EIZO's panel.
