Hi people

I´ve already installed Mountain Lion on my 4540 Laptop with ProBook 6.1.2.

I´ve got several problems...

- Keyboard doesn´t match special characters as @, ´ç . I´ve tried to configure the keyboard in system but doesn´t work either.
- Screen blinks a lot with images and videos. I´ve tried with Graphic glitch fix.
- There is no audio
- Screen saver is a white empty screen.

Thanks for your work¡¡

Exactly which options did you selected in the Installer? A copy of /var/log/install.log will be useful as well.

Here are the options selected for the installer

And the attachment contains the log file.

Thank you.

This log is very weird. I assume you haven't done a fresh install, because according to the log, the first installed package was the 10.8.4 combo update. Also, the Installer has been ran several times and every time a different set of option has been selected

Run 1:
OS X support kexts/4x40s/OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.4
System definitions/i3/i5 Ivy Bridge
Chameleon r2255

Run 2:
DSDT generator/patcher/ProBook model/4x40s Ivy
Chameleon r2255
Extra tools/Chameleon Wizard

Run 3:
SSDT generator
Extra tools/Kext Wizard
Extra tools/HWMonitor (Lion and ML)
Extra tools/Show All Files
Extra tools/Quartz Debug

Run 4:
Optional hardware-specific fixes/Graphic glitch fix
Misc OS X fixes/Sleep fix/Sleep image fix

Run 5:
Misc OS X fixes/blinkscreen

Was that really necessary?

RM, do you see what I see?

Yes, I saw the same thing. And while it is a strange way to do it, it should work (other than not selecting a screen type) provided the original install was fresh using Unibeast USB made with genuine Mac App Store download.

That's right, but not my point, he hasn't selected the screen patch and here comes the graphics problems.

Yeah, I saw that too, but that's not what's happening according to the OP (somehow?).
System is evidently booting successfully, probably with VESA graphics drivers (why? ... it should result in hang at boot).

Maybe the OP can clarify the procedure used to install?
