[SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

I have create a post with the component list including the watercooling parts for your reference here. Will work on the links when I got more time over over the weekend. Hope to see your custom hardline build some day!! Again thanks for all the help along the way. Keep it up!
That's a very good post -- including your photographic skills. It takes a little bit of time and effort to conform to User Build guidelines.

Sure - what version of OC are you on?

[EDIT] just seen it in your signature. I'll sanitise my EFI later and share it. @CaseySJ is there an official way of sharing EFIs so that it isn't confusing to others reading the board?
0.5.9

yeah maybe some kind of direct PM - not sure??
This thread is the right place to post your EFI files because the problem in question is occurring on Designare Z390 and the discussion and dissection of the EFI helps the community.

hello I'm back can you help me I have the antelope synergy core 4
Thunderbolt Bus:
...

Build 1 GA-Z170X-Ultra Gaming | i7 7700K | HD 630
Unfortunately, Antelope Audio Thunderbolt devices do not (yet) work on Hackintosh even after flashing Thunderbolt firmware. This is a problem with Antelope's drivers. I believe the drivers work under High Sierra, but not on newer versions of macOS. I should say that this affects Hackintosh, but perhaps not real Macs.

Although I've not experimented with these settings, it might be something to try. The DAC-UP ports are the two yellow USB ports on the rear IO panel. Note the text in magenta box: ...allows users to compensate USB ports voltage, enhance USB devices stability.

@CaseySJ @kellymac12 Okay here's my Opencore 0.5.9 EFI. All working well apart from annoying (possible) USB related random freeze.. I've taken out my details and removed Resources & Tools folders just for upload space..

[Edit] - yes I tried the above during my streaming nightmare and although I didn't take a full detailed note on which one I had on etc. I also did it because I thought the USB camera was 'low' on power and a couple of Softube controllers I have aswell as they are power hungry. However I'm pretty 99% sure the freezes still happened.

Perhaps the problem lies on my side. At the bottom of the Catalina 10.15.4 mini-guide there are two ZIP files:
  • Catalina 10.15.4 Fresh Install.zip
  • May 2020 Update - Catalina 10.15.4 Fresh Install.zip
I think for Mojave-to-Catalina upgrade it would best to choose the first file. It should be easy to switch to that ZIP as follows:
  • Download the ZIP
  • Inside the CLOVER folder, rename config-AMD-GPU.plist to config.plist
  • Then enter your Serial Number, Board Serial Number, System UUID, etc. into the SMBIOS section
  • Then copy Board Serial Number into the RtVariables --> MLB field
Mount EFI folder of the USB install disk:
  • Replace CLOVER/kexts/Other folder with new one from the ZIP file
  • Replace CLOVER/ACPI/patched folder with new one from the ZIP file
  • Replace CLOVER/drivers/UEFI folder with new one from the ZIP file
  • Replace config.plist with the new one you modified above
If this works, I'll of course modify the Mojave-to-Catalina upgrade instructions.
Using the files provided in Catalina 10.15.4 Fresh Install.zip macOS Mojave seems to start normally.
There are no more warning messages during startup and I have verified that the native NVRAM is working as described in your guide.

I need clarification: wanting to install macOS Catalina by creating a second APFS Volume on the same drive in a dualboot configuration I should use the same Catalina package 10.15.4 Fresh Install.zip or I should use the new May 2020 Update package to create the new Catalina USB install disk?

After having possibly installed macOS Catalina, will it be possible to start Mojave or Catalina using the same configuration that I just verified working with macOS Mojave?

Furthermore, with the latest changes, a problem arose: in my multiboot system I have a separate drive with Ubuntu 18.04 with GRUB as Master bootloader, using the latest version of Clover (5119) selecting the Ubuntu entry from the Clover menu the GRUB menu appears but selecting any linux boot entry (i have several distributions installed in this drive) none of them start differently than what happen using the Clover 4920 version. I know that between the two versions of Clover there was an update Folders structure but I don't know if it could depend on this or on lack/update of some drivers.
This is the current UEFI drivers folder in my previous USB mojave install disk based on Clover v. 4920:

this is the current UEFI drivers folders created with Catalina 10.15.4 Fresh Install.zip package and based on Clover v.5119

Any suggestions about this problem?
Thanks in advance

Typically I've been working all day and haven't (yet) experienced a USB crash... But I'll try those settings as the next thing to investigate.

@CaseySJ @ziggenpuss and here's mine. I'll compare and contrast this evening, if you guys would be kind enough to do the same.
