I've built my Hackintosh using the GA Z170N Wifi and am currently trying to set it up to be used with a Thunderbolt 3 Audio Interface. The integrated USB C Port doesn't work, and I read that you need to get a PCIe Card (GC Alpine Ridge). I also read though, that not all motherboards support...
Hi Everyone, I have 2 hackintosh machines, One is a professional audio travel rig. I recently had to get an apollo X4 (instead of my thunderbolt 2 twin), It works if plugged at clover screen but disconnects after about thirty minutes and the only solution is a restart. I rely on it for stability...
This solution has been discussed several places already, but I never seemed to find a conclusion on whether it works or not. For me it worked out of the box!

So after a bad bios update I had to replace my motherboard and decided to get a cheaper newer model. One of the first issues I noticed most of the usb3 ports are running at usb2 speed. Even my Alpine Ridge Thunderbold 3 card is operating at usb2 speed. Any help would be grateful.
