[SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

For what purpose are you trying to use tbpatcher?

To avoid yanking this card out again to replace that section and hopefully to learn a thing or two.

Should I just re-flash it instead? That was a big ask of me, my bad!

OMG!! 28 freaking cores!! On a 12 DIMM quad-channel motherboard. Who cares about the Mac Pro now??

How did you get Thunderbolt Bus to show up? Or is that a GC-Titan Ridge?

@CaseySJ it is off topic but maybe you can help me. I have a triple boot computer. After I started to use OcQuirks.efi+OpenRuntime.efi (former FwRuntimeServices.efi), I can't boot in ubuntu from clover (freeze on purple screen). I can boot directly from bios. Any suggestion?
Well, why not go back to previous OcQuirks/FwRuntimeServices? :)

@Elias64Fr already created a tbpatcher file, so that's not the issue. He sent me a copy privately so I'm not at liberty to share. But you may ask him directly via private mail.

Thanks for the info. I should cool my heels a bit anyways and wait for the nvm26 to arrive.

after a break for a brew day, I flashed the GC-AR with Elias's v.1. the DROM guide says to achieve successful Thunderbolt Bus before proceeding with DROM. I reinstalled the flashed card but no dice. I suspect I need an SSDT to achieve implementation of Thunderbolt Bus. my IOReg shows that I have available RP's: RP01@1C, RP06@1C,5, RP09@1D, RP17@1B, and RP21@1B,4. what is the next step? thanks!

So my questions :
- How to prevent the computer (I was on MacOs and not on Windows) and the screen to go into StandbyMode ? Is there Any change to do in the bios or somewhere to stop that ?
- Is It Really a StandbyMode that I'm trying to describe you ?
- Why does it show a BootFailure Message ? How to prevent it ?
...
To prevent the computer from sleeping, we just go to System Preferences --> Energy Saver and configure it like this:

The Boot Failure error should disappear the next time the computer shuts down or reboots "normally".

Run IORegistryExplorer and scroll the device tree on left side until you get to the Thunderbolt section. Then post a screenshot.

12 Dimm - 6 Channel mate :headbang::mrgreen:

It's an Titan Ridge AIC Card which I use for it and of course the firmware you guys did in combination with the custom ThunderboltDROM. :) sorry for the whole off-topic in your thread @CaseySJ

Thank you Casey, but this setup were already done. The problem persists still.

It seems like the Hackintosh randomly shutdown.
I Have A RX 5700XT, My Shigiva= 80 for Displaying Airplay, Also I have Slide=0 , FixIPC checked.
I am Using OcQuirks, and Native NVRAM enabled (working and tested).

Any Idea ? I visited your Sleep/Wake Post but I don't know if it is related to the same problem.
Thank you
