Yes, I figured it out it's B. So? According to specs, B key still does same PCi-E protocol. Get a converter M.2 B -> miniPCIE and use any card. The only problem can be is a size, so you may need to use M.2 extender to move that bulky converter and card elsewhere. As for now, I've ordered a socket, will see if that pinout is operational at all
(way 1).
Hi
@Neolo777 I have studied the circuit board and I don't think it will be as simple as fitting just a socket. There are other components missing from the board, like resistors and capacitors. It is impossible to guess what values are required. You would need access to the schematic design.
Hi. Personally I want to have 2 SSD drives AND an extra WLAN card. So in theory, it's possible to solder a missing M.2 B socket, insert SATA lll SSD 2242 (yes it should work as well and fit there) and put the wlan card to the factory slot on a right side of the laptop, using your tutorial, btw thank you
(way 2). =) As I mentioned earlier, that rare converter you used was relisted on ebay for USA and UK after I've asked the seller.
Once I'll get my parts delivered, will let you guys know which way I went. Probably 2nd is more realistic.

Not necessarily a problem, there is a very high possibility that those pins are operational. The best way is to test it out on practice, so I will do. Unless you have a tech document of entire logic board and you able to read it =)
