If I were to try something advanced like that idI probably blow up the notebook!!

Anyway, I'm more and more in love with this little nifty machine, and I'd like to keep improve it if I can.

How do I:

1. Improve the trackpad? I don't need all the features from the original Mac trackpad but I can't get the two fingers tap work (oddily, the two fingers click works)

2. Get a better antialiasing? I know it's a lesser display but in Linux I did manage to get amazongly sharp fonts

Cheers!

Ok so I've been experimenting with the trackpad a little bit (what a great job Steeeeeve did here) and I noticed something a bit weird. The single tap works fine until I get into accessibility and enable the drag option with one finger. With that option enabled a double tap is registered like a single tap, while a single tap locks the cursor onto the item selected and drags it around until another tap release it. If I select the option 'drag with three fingers' then the single tap works again as intended. Three fingers drag is pretty cool, but I would love to still use the usual drag with one finger feature. If anyone knows how to

Can't we just solder a 3d socket, which is looks like M.2 (but what KEY ? confused) and insert the card? It even says it's for wireless cards. There is sockets on AliExpress can be ordered.
I'd like to preserve a 2nd slot for SSD.

For those who need that adapter from the tutorial, in order to use 2nd slot. I've asked a seller to relist:

Hi @Neolo777 I have studied the circuit board and I don't think it will be as simple as fitting just a socket. There are other components missing from the board, like resistors and capacitors. It is impossible to guess what values are required. You would need access to the schematic design.

Yes, I figured it out it's B. So? According to specs, B key still does same PCi-E protocol. Get a converter M.2 B -> miniPCIE and use any card. The only problem can be is a size, so you may need to use M.2 extender to move that bulky converter and card elsewhere. As for now, I've ordered a socket, will see if that pinout is operational at all (way 1).

Hi. Personally I want to have 2 SSD drives AND an extra WLAN card. So in theory, it's possible to solder a missing M.2 B socket, insert SATA lll SSD 2242 (yes it should work as well and fit there) and put the wlan card to the factory slot on a right side of the laptop, using your tutorial, btw thank you (way 2). =) As I mentioned earlier, that rare converter you used was relisted on ebay for USA and UK after I've asked the seller.

Once I'll get my parts delivered, will let you guys know which way I went. Probably 2nd is more realistic.

Not necessarily a problem, there is a very high possibility that those pins are operational. The best way is to test it out on practice, so I will do. Unless you have a tech document of entire logic board and you able to read it =)

There is very little free space in this laptop, I don't think you will find any free space to fit a miniPCIe WiFi module.

Yeah I guess, that's why I'll try to use this 3rd slot for a 2242 ssd and the 2280 one for wifi, preserving 2 drives in the system.

Another question, I have a really bad trackpad behavior, especially right click. Is there updated driver for it? I'm using the lasted VoodooI2C.kext from their website, but it's so terrible...
