Hi to all!
I have ASUS X99-E WS USB3.1 Mobo with i7-6900K (Broadwell-E) ASUS GTX 1080Ti
I followed exactly guide but get panic immediately after pass Clover. Could not get to the installer.
I use Sierra 10.12.5
Can please someone assist to point me?

[SOLVED Partially]
The issue for me was fix - xcpm_bootstrap Sierra © Pike R. Alpha
If I disable this fix, I've get panic. With fix - it's ok.
But for now I can't unlock xcpm
No matter how hard I tried, I always get "sysctl machdep.xcpm.mode" "0"
I've patched BIOS using Guide but BIOS Flash utility do not accept file - wrong BIOS file.
Can it be issue for XCPM in my case?

And the second issue is that I can't boot without cpus=1 or VoodooTSCSync.
So, no cpus=1 and no VoodooTSCSync = panic
With VoodooTSCSync 8 cores - system is loading
With cpus=1 - system is loading

I am confused for now =(

Thanks PILGRIM and KGP for your suggestions. Only problem now is how to access the M.2 EFI partition to edit it if I cant access it from my other working OS Sierra disk nor from a USB clover boot disk as mentioned already. Is there a back door way through the clover boot screen? Saw a way of doing it in windows through Macdisk but currently my windows disk has been corrupted :banghead:

You should be able to accees it from any other working OS Sierra disk! You just have to implement the proper aml and kexts for NVME in the EFI-folder there!!!

Cheers,

KGP

Hi Synth1980.
I have the same problem, not being able to enable XCPM.
I also had to disable the xcpm_bootstrap Sierra © Pike R. Alpha entry.
My rig is a ASUS X99-E WS (so not the USB3.1) and a i7-5960x. So it could seem like something with a setting for the MB then...
I'll keep trying different things and if I find any solution I'll of course share :)

No! If I disable this fix xcpm_bootstrap Sierra © Pike R. Alpha - I get panic. System is bootable ONLY with this fix.
It's interesting to investigate further.

Ah sorry, I miss-read. Probably just read what I wanted to read ;)
But I did also have to either cpus=1 or VoodooTSCSync. When I have VoodooTSCSync there's no need for fakeCPUID.

The goal is not to use VoodooTSCSync and cpus=1
May be it's something to tweak in BIOS?

Yeah, would be great to do without. But if you gonna enable sleep/wake following KGP's guide, you'll anyway add it in the end.
It's just strange that it seems impossible to enable XCPM...

Your BIOS is unlocked/patched?

The logical continuation of my successful macOS Sierra 10.12 Desktop Guide and its extension to macOS High Sierra 10.13 has been published today (13 July 2017). Anybody, interested can follow THIS LINK.

Note that macOS High Sierra 10.13 is still in an early beta stage. Use this guide only for test purposes. Do not directly upgrade your macOS Sierra 10.12 System Drive!

Yes, unlocked.
I think I might just have to accept that there's gonna be no Power Management for now. The rest work quite good :)
