Intel HD 5xx/6xx Graphics (Skylake & Kabylake) users:

There are changes to the new 10.12.5 Intel graphics drivers which may cause black screen or hang on boot. If you can't boot to desktop after updating, uncheck Inject Intel in Clover boot menu under Options/Graphics Injector/Inject Intel:

When you reach the desktop, install the following kexts to /Library/Extensions using KextBeast:

Lilu.kext
IntelGraphicsFixup.kext

You may also install the kexts before you update. The addition of these kexts should allow you to boot- we are looking into using Clover's KextstoPatch for a permanent solution.

Please post a reply if this has/hasn't worked for your system.

I updated from 10.12.3 to 10.12.5 and have this problem so I unchecked Inject Intel but I still have the same problem :/

What do I have to do now?

PS: I missed to install the kexts before the update :banghead:

You need to install Lilu.kext + IntelGraphicsFixup.kext.
You will need to use an invalid ig-platform-id.
Disabling Inject/Intel is not effective.

I have a GTX 970 and I'm getting this issue. Must I follow these same steps, even though I'm planning to get NVIDIA drivers working?

Boot with an invalid ig-platform-id (0x12345678). Install kexts. Boot normally.

I'm having the same problem.
At which exact location we have to install these two kexts?
EFI/Clover/Kexts/Other?

All kexts you need should be installed to the system volume (/Library/Extensions or /System/Library/Extensions, your choice).

The problem is that Lilu. kext is making kernel panic in a loop in my hardware, which is asrock h170 with hd530. Any advice ?
Currently I can boot with fake 0x19120003 graphic id, but only 8 MB vram is in use , so constant glitches and no vlc or other video player in use. May be any solution to raise vram?
