Hi folks. I believe I found the steps necessary to enable the web drivers (at least in my case) on a fresh install or not. I have tested this a few times on two systems:
First machine upgraded since Yosemite to Sierra 10.12.3 using a GTX 960 that I upgraded to GTX980:
- using Sierra 10.12.3 , I upgraded the 960 to a 980 and the drivers wouldn't load anymore.
- I reinstalled the web drivers again (367.15.10.35f01) and rebooted as required.
- reboot the machine, the drivers wouldn't load.
- reinstalled the latest clover version available (2.3k r3994) and customised/reapplied EmuVariableUefi-64,OsxAptioFix2Drv-64 and OsxAptioFixDrv-64.
- opened Clover Configurator to make sure the Nvidia Web option is still checked (it was).
- reboot again and upon reboot the drivers were loaded.
Second computer, a fresh install of Sierra on Skylake with another GTX 980:
- fresh installed Sierra and upgraded to 10.12.3 with the combo.
- installed the web-drivers (367.15.10.35f01) and rebooted as required. driver's didn't enable upon reboot.
- installed the latest clover version available (2.3k r3994) and customised it with EmuVariableUefi-64,OsxAptioFix2Drv-64 and OsxAptioFixDrv-64.
- opened Clover Configurator and checked the Nvidia Web is System Parameters.
- reboot and the drivers were loaded
