Any method to update 10.11.3 for P9X79PRO
I'm running 4901.What BIOS are you on? Can you post your "patched" folder please.
Make sure you have the newest SSDT for your GPU (AsusX79Files/Post Install/2 ACPI/Nvidia Kepler (4port) HDMI GPU SSDT) installed in EFI/CLOVER/acpi/patched. Any method should work. Install combo update (my preference), use appstore update, or download full version from appstore and run the app. Restart.Any method to update 10.11.3 for P9X79PRO
Try this SSDT-0 with and then without the DSDT if the Intel SATA ports don't load.I'm running 4901.
Here's the folder. I included the DSDT and SSDT-0. I've run both together and single along with the other SSDTs for GFX, USB fix, and PM with the same result. Thanks for taking a look.
It works with and without. I took a look at the SSDT and see that you added the SAT0. Thanks for doing that!Try this SSDT-0 with and then without the DSDT if the Intel SATA ports don't load.
Please report your results.
Just added a DSM method to fake the device ID to intel 8 series. My ports have always worked without this but since it's make or break for yours, I'll updates the guide's files with it.It works with and without. I took a look at the SSDT and see that you added the SAT0. Thanks for doing that!
Hi Shilohh and everyone.
I woke up this morning and suddenly my machine will not load Yosemite any longer. It will get to the Apple logo and progress bar, but just around the half way point my monitors suddenly say no signal.
There was an outstanding security release (latest Security update for Yosemite) that had been constantly asking me to install, which I never did simply because I didn't have anytime lately to deal with anything happening. I am not sure how it could have installed itself automatically since I have had auto updates off forever...
I installed the combo 11.3 patch updated the NVIDIA drivers (via the preference pane), rebooted with nv_disable=1 flag and ran the AGDPfix.
All working again. Did not need to reinstall my Audio.
If you install the correct HDMI GPU SSDT (from the newest updated files download on the OP) for your graphics card, you won't need to use AGDPfix.app anymore.
