Not yet as I want to install ML instead!

Just so people know, it didnt not work installing Windows 7 and Lion on the same drive. So I have only installed lion on the hdd. (I had partitionned the drive in two parts with the usb unibeast installer menus. Then I rebooted and installed windows on the second part of the hdd(had to delete the second partition). Windows booted great! But chimera bootloader did not recognised the Windows install. From my experience, the Windows Partition is probably too far from the beginning of the drive so that the bootloader detects it! And I remember reading something like this about chimera bootloader somewhere on this forum!

Deleting the second partition is why it did not work. You must format that second partition MSDOS and then use the advanced button in the Windows installer to re-format it NTFS before you try to install Windows.

See http://www.tonymacx86.com/snow-leop...multibooting-novice-updated-3-12-see-log.html and scroll down to the bottom for Win7 + Lion.

EDIT: If installing Mountain Lion use same procedure - Lion or ML, no difference.

Ahhh! I get it now why it did not work!

Thank you for showing me this guide! :O)

First of all, I want to make clear I am not tech savvy as a good friend of mine is helping me put this build together. We are running into the exact same loop you are and I'd like to know the exact steps you took to get your MAC running. I'm not sure which version of Uni-beast I used either I just downloaded it from here:

http://tonymacx86.blogspot.com/2011/10/unibeast-install-mac-os-x-lion-using.html

We downloaded bridgehelper as well and followed everything as according to this video:

Sorry to be such a n00b, but any help will be appreciated!

Did you follow this guide? : http://legacy.tonymacx86.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=59052

For Lion install, I used the latest version of Unibeast Lion only v.1.5.3 to make my bootable usb stick, then i patched the partition I just created with BridgeHelper 4.0.1. My next problem was to detect my hdd in the installer...

I would remove you graphic card before trying to do the install.

I have used the F12 BIOS.

For BIOS settings here is two links :

Do you want to install Lion before installing Mountain Lion, or just directly do a ML install?

Perfect! I hadn't seen that guide before and that got me past the boot loop. I finished getting it installed and now I just need to use MultiBeast to get it configured properly. Do you have any advice about using MultiBeast? Thanks a bunch for your help!
