I have a similar system and it works fine for me
GPU: The Nvidia GTX 980Ti works fine with nvidia's web drivers. Since I use the iMac14,2 smbios, so no GPU fix is needed to avoid black screen.
USB: I don't use the USB Port Limit patch, since it's not intended for long time use. Instead I use USBInjectAll with the following exclude list as clover boot argument: uia_exclude=HS03,HS04,HS10,HS11,HS12,SS03,SS04,SS07,SS08,USR2 (HS03,HS04 and SS03,SS04 are associated with the other internal USB Socket, so depending on which is connected to the front panel, different excludes are needed).
AUDIO: The back headphone port has a noticeable noise, especially when the graphics card is strained. I had to switch to the front pannel audio port, which does not suffer from this. But it seems that only the back port suffers from the reboot sound issues, with the front audio port, audio playback is available even after sleep. (But I do use darkwake=0)
