I understand that I need to use clover... I like clover and I have got this comp running with clover in the past. But with the cost of no internet or sound and when I went to clover boot loader and when I choose Windows I get a black screen with a blinking _ for however long I keep my computer running. So, I am coming to my favorite forum for help.

System Specs:
Motherboard: Z97 MSI Gaming 3

CPU: i5 - 4690k

RAM: 16GB

Graphics: Geforce GTX 760 (Runs native on OS X - no Graphics Enabler = yes needed amazing for os x)

Two 1TB hard disks.

TLDR : How would some one go about installing OS X Yosemite on a empty hard disk with Windows 8.1 (UEFI) installed on a UEFI Motherboard.

PS: I know how to install clover, just the boot loader does not allow me to boot into my windows Hard Drive nor OS X Yosemite sound or internet kexts work.

Whether you need to use Clover or not depends on if you installed Win8 UEFI or Legacy mode.

If it is installed Legacy, you can use Chimera/Chameleon as a boot loader.

For installing on separate drives see http://www.tonymacx86.com/multi-booting/96000-guide-dual-booting-mountain-lion-windows-8-a.html

If Win8 is installed UEFI, then Clover is needed. For guide see http://www.tonymacx86.com/yosemite-desktop-guides/144426-how-install-os-x-yosemite-using-clover.html

Since you already have Win8 installed, you may have to make some BIOS changes - turn off trusted Boot, etc. to allow OS X to boot the machine.
