What keeps you guys to still getting Nvidia for a Hackintosh?
That's my only question that my brain cannot process, literally I'm all ears and attention to receive any answer with common sense.
Most of us only either only have NVIDIA hardware, can't afford to buy a second card, or some people are so dedicated to NVIDIA that they would die if they touched an AMD card (a.k.a. fanboys/fangirls).
In my case I simply cannot afford another card. I hackintoshed my Alienware R4 17 laptop back in 2017, which has a GTX 1070 as well as Intel HD 630 Integrated Graphics (laptop display is connected to my 1070, so Mojave and up isn't an option). Here's my argument: Apple locks software updates to their applications after a certain amount of time. For example, version 10.4.7 of Logic Pro X is compatible with High Sierra 10.13.6, but not 10.13.2, and who knows how long it will be until I stop receiving those updates. Along with that, something like Apple's Sidecar is only available in Mojave, Dark Mode is in Mojave, etc...
All that to say, the hackintosh NVIDIA community wants the features that everyone else is getting while not having to burn more holes through their wallet.
