Hey i have the 2500k and the z68x UD3h b3 without a graphics card but i have a problem. When i turn off the hackintosh and restart it get the sign saying i have no operating system.
but when i reboot it a second time it boots normally in Mac OS. I don't know why ...
can someone help me its actually my first hackintosh...
Sounds like your boot device priority is not correct. When you're on UEFI BIOS, the primary boot device should ben 'UEFI <disk name>'.

Salut. Did you use the U1n Bios? The Beta one? Currently I have the U1l running on my Z68X-UD3H-B3 rev. 1.0. Now I want to upgrade to El Capitan. And Clover won't boot. Neither UEFI nor lagacy. Tried both. So I still use Chimera 3.0.1 to boot into Mavericks.

Thinking about to flash my Board with the U1n. Is it save?
How far do you get booting your machine? Do you get a Kernal Panic or does it simply not recognise your boot device?

UEFI-Boot:
It stops while booting into Clover. Strange Thing: I see the Gigabyte-Bootscreen while Clover is saying "Welcome to clover 3320 ... scan entries ..."

Tried this method: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...pitan-on-any-supported-intel-based-pc.172672/
and this one: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...clover-ga-z68x-ud3h-b3-amd-6870-2600k.176256/
Using Unibeast 6.2.0 and including of course the correct Bios Settings. With various 2.0-USB Sticks. Always the same. That's why I thought about resetting or flashing the Bios. Flashing with a newer Bios or taking out the battery for 10 Minutes.

Thanks.

What OS do you use? My U1l is running fine for almost three years now with Mavericks and also -since last year- with Win10 Pro. Only the booting problems with clover suck. I love Mavericks, especially it's design. But some apps won't run on it anymore.

I Use latest Clover with sierra @ the moment

I think it's the boot entries. There are a lot of them. I did a reset of the UEFI, via the Jumpers on the Mobo, which worked, but all the entries are still there. Where are they? How can I delete them? Perhaps I'm gonna stick with Mavericks for the next days.

delete the boot entries, you can use the

1. EFI shell -> Clover select Shell, use bcfg command -- Displays/modifies the driver/boot configuration
or
2. efibootmgr (linux)
or
3. BCDEdit (windows)

bcfg command examples
http://maykiller.com/2013/a-efi-tools-bcfg/

Shell> bcfg boot dump -v #Show your UEFI boot list
Shell> bcfg boot add 3 fs0:EFI[Your path][Your EFI name].efi "[You want to show in list of MB]" #Add a boot to list
Shell> bcfg boot rm 3 #Remove a boot from list
Shell> bcfg boot mv 3 0 #Change a boot order
Shell> help bcfg -v -b #Show bcfg help text

Updated the board to UEFI U1n. All the useless boot entries disappeared. But Clover's freeze -seconds after booting- stayed. I also tried to install macOS sierra. Same problem.

Ten minutes ago, I discovered that: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...ning-entries-because-of-software-raid.176173/

I'm pretty sure, that should be the solution. Haven't read the whole thread entirely, but I think it means I have to unplug or disable the two software-RAID-Drives. Try it tomorrow.

Hmm, I want to keep my software-RAID.
