[SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

Hi, after upgrade to macOS 11.4 (from previous Big Sur version) I'm getting this error. It seems like screens disconects in cycles of several times. Any idea what may be going on?

I have updated to the latest version of OpenCore and the error persists

done, thank you
Very good. Now let's try this:
  • Locate a USB flash disk with an EFI partition. If you don't have one handy, any USB flash disk will work but we will need to erase it.
  • Mount EFI partition of USB flash disk.
  • If there is already a folder there called EFI, rename it to EFI-OLD (or something similar).
  • Inside the ZIP file is a folder called EFI. Copy the EFI folder to the EFI partition of USB flash disk.
Now let's boot from the USB flash disk:
  • Reboot computer.
  • At Gigabyte splash screen on your Z390 Aorus Pro, press F12 to open the BIOS boot menu
  • Select the USB flash disk
  • Does the new OpenCore boot picker appear?
  • If so, select your Mojave disk.
  • Does it boot up?

Yes the OC boot picker appear, but when I select « David » (my main drive where Mojave is installed), I immediately got this error..

Any idea what it is?
Thanks in advance!
Frank

Oh yes, on Mojave and Catalina we need to disable SecureBootModel. Simply open your config.plist in a text editor such as BBEdit and make this change:

Alternatively we can download OpenCore Configurator by clicking here. When you run OpenCore Configurator, first set its preferences to 0.7.5 Release Version:

Then it's a simple matter of opening config.plist (make sure only one EFI partition is mounted) and making this change:

Then save the file and reboot.

This doesn't seem to work anymore -- Terminal says it's a read-only filesystem.
Correct. Only the 2nd one will work, but this step is not needed.

Ok, Disabling SBM worked trough editing config.plist with Bbedit.

But now I’m stucked with Apple logo.. how do I add verbose mode in OC?

Thanks you!

Does the graphical (not text mode) OpenCore picker appear? If so, press and release CMD-V and then select the Mojave boot disk.
