[SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

I am unable to update oc to 7.0 Version cause I already did and under HackinDROM App its still showing 0.6.8 sharing the screenshot for same
Known issue usually solved by clearing NVRAM or more selectively in Terminal :
Code:
sudo nvram -d 4D1FDA02-38C7-4A6A-9CC6-4BCCA8B30102:opencore-version

Anyone had luck playing Apple Music lossless tracks?

Lossless and Hi-Res plays fine with UAD Apollo Twin on my Hackintosh
(Need to restart the Apollo after changing sample rate to 192khz)

Try clearing NVRAM from the boot menu.

Okay. I've just tested a 50 second 4K HDR clip from FCPX to Compressor (4K HEVC HDR 10bit) and it took about 10 minutes. Something's either quite normal or way off. Sys def = iMac 19,1 (see build info)...

60 second timeline export (no gfx) from FCPX via File<Share options

Master File 4k Rec. 2020 HLG: 12 seconds.

Right-click built-in "Encode Selected Video Files" to 1080p on that Master File export: 25 seconds.
Hmm, I have sys def= iMac Pro 1,1, iGPU is disabled,

HEVC encode does not work with Quicktime, FCPX. Found similar problem here https://github.com/WingLim/Dell-Optiplex-5070mff-Hackintosh/issues/4
you need to remove “AAPL,slot-name” key (and related string value) you set from ALL the “DeviceProperties” section (see “Root->DeviceProperties -> Add”) in your “config.plist” file OC
I tried to remove it, but it changes nothing for me.

You might be booting from the wrong drive. Please check BIOS --> BOOT order or press F12 at Gigabyte splash screen to select the correct boot drive.

I don't know if it has been previously mentioned, but F9K bios(beta) for Designare Z390 is out.
Haven't tried it myself yet, but saw some people have problems with the previous bios(F9j). So give it a shot.

GIGABYTE Latest Beta BIOS
This is a beta version that was posted some time ago. Some folks have already tried it and, I think, reported some issues with USB-C devices on Thunderbolt ports.
