[Success] GA-Z370 Aorus Gaming 7 + i7-8700K + RX 5700 XT + OC

Brother, heard that UAD will be released next month, is it true?

Please help...

Gigabyte Z370 Gaming 7, 64 gig RAM, 9900k CPU, Radeon 580
Working stable for years...

Suddenly my desktop stopped booting into OS X...
Initial determination, it was a dead power supply.
Swapped out power supply

THEN

System boots only for around 5-6 mins.
Thought it was thermal issue with AIO Corsair H60
replaced that

THEN

System still only boots for around 5-6 mins
did clean install to SSD (it was able to install this for some reason)

NOW

Still only booting for around 5-6 mins

Testing RAM now...

RAM passed tests

Changed EFI to the one here, but boot still failed

Unsure what else to do...

the point that it crashes is at some point after login..

Sometimes it makes it to desktop, sometimes just reboots...

Hello,
How are you ?
I have same MB and i5-8400 RAM 16 NVM2 512 Samsung.
Can I use your EFI without edit ?
Hi there,
If you also have the same graphics card, than, yeah, it should be possible without editing. Keep in mind that the config.plist comes without a serial number, etc.

Hmm, honestly, no clue. :)
If you think it could be hardware related, than I would disconnect everything you don't really need for booting and replace (if possible) some the parts like RAM, Graphics card, HDD...

You also could test it with Linux live, or if you got a spare hard disk install Linux on it, and see if you get the same issue.

My EFI doesn't come with the latest OC, but it would also be worth a try.

Do you mean a new interface by UAD? I haven't heard anything.

UAD software support for Big Sur was released last week

But a lot of software is a "wait before upgrade" situation - quite a good set of links here

Digital Performer looks like it requires an upgrade to DP11 to support Big Sur (USD$195 ah joy)

Waves, NI and Cubase announce support (mostly, if you upgrade)

dears, have received a modified BIOS from Gigabyte support for the Z370 Aorus Gaming 7 Rev 1.0.
they added CFG LOCK enable / disable option. up to date F15 version. tried yesterday works fine.
