Hi,

I am trying to Opencore 0.7.0 this setup:

- ASUS TUF GAMING B560M-PLUS WIFI

- Intel 11900 Rocket Lake

I am trying to set it up using the built in iGPU. I also have at home an RX 5600 XT. I tried also installing it, but the problem keeps presenting itself. At this moment it is installed on another computer.

I am stuck at 40 seconds into the installation. I tried switching various variables on BIOS, and on config.plist with propertree, but the installation gets stuck. Here are the last 3 lines of "Verbose mode":

- populate value from memory descriptor: 10059: populate value from memory descriptor is NULL
- apfs extract root hash and manifest x86: 10116: populate value from memory descriptor for root hash failed: 22
- authenticate efi forwarded roothash: 2680: apfs extract root hash and manifest failed with error: Invalid argument (22)

No matter what, it always gets stuck at this "Invalid argument (22)". Anybody knows what it is referring to?

I even tried using a "ready to go" EFI folder from a fellow that released it online, but I still get the "22" error.

Thanks in advance,

Ed

Hi there.

If the other builder's EFI gives you iGPU output with hardware acceleration, that will be a first. 11th gen iGPUs in 500-Series motherboards don't - yet - work.

I see there aren't any Device Properties for the iGPU in your config.plist, so there's no spoofing going on.

Your 5600 should be fine though.

Hi there,

You are welcome to try my current EFI settings on page 4. I currently use a i9-11900K on my Z490 Aorus Xtreme so it should work for your board.
