Solving NVIDIA Driver Install & Loading Problems

I am not have any luck with my patch. I have changed definition from mac pro 3,1 to 6,1 and put the patch in for nvidia gtx 950 but still the screen sleeps when loading. Is my editing wrong?

I have a problem booting my hackintosh

Hi there.

I'm using Dell U2515H display with GeForce GTX650 connected via HDMI 1.4a; and the problem is that when using OSX Default Graphic Driver I'm able to use default resolution, which is 2560x1440; and when using NVIDIA Alternate Graphic Drivers, max resolution is 2048x1152. Anyone knows how to fix that?

Try using the pixel clock patch v2 or just use the default OS X drivers. If you aren't doing a lot of rendering using GPU acceleration or gaming then you won't notice a difference between the web drivers and the default drivers. If you are doing those things then you will see a 5-10% performance bump.

Do you have FakeSMC.kext installed?
 
Hello guys, i have my hackintosh running since January, but every time I boot.. It take 3 or more times to start correctly... at the apple loading bar.. it stop at no signal or just reboot.... and then suddenly it... boot up... i just keep rebooting waiting for the login screen.

there's the error message...

Make sure you are injecting Nvidia and I see that you have the web drivers installed so try adding the boot argument nvda_drv=1.
 
I keep getting problem 4. I have tried method 1 and 2 and still the monitor sleeps right after login. gtx 950 asus maximus VIII ranger i7 6700. I can put in the boot flag nv_disable=1 and it will work but the screen has some lines. Please advise.

sound is also not working

There appear to be some other issues with Skylake systems as I see lots of reports of black screens even after doing problem #4. I suggest trying this method (http://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/b...-imac-15-or-imac-17-system-definition.183113/) or try using a different system profile such as iMac14,2.
 
so i had problem #4, where after boot, my video card (GT630) would not output a video signal. i edited the .kext for a 6,1 system profile and upon rebooting, got:

boot0: GPT
boot0: test
boot0: test
boot0: done
boot1: error

what does this mean? is there any hope for me?
